We hold no email address, no phone number and no password: nothing that could identify you.
A server copy that points to no one
Your entries are copied to the server so that a lost phone does not take them with it. They are sent depersonalized, without a name, an email address or a phone number.
No profile of you
Nothing you log is turned into a profile, because there is no one for us to profile. Crash reports include none of your content.

What people most often want to know before they start
Does Keks Log cost anything?
Not for the diary itself. Entries, your full history and pairing with your partner are free and carry no ads. One paid bundle includes all of the extras: shared wishes and reactions for couples, plus observations about your rhythm. When one partner buys it, both get access.
How private is my data?
Very. Keks Log never asks you to register or to hand over an email address or phone number, because your device creates the account on its own. Entries are copied to our server, but with no name, email address or number attached, so we have no way of knowing whose they are.
How do I connect with my partner?
Through a pairing code. One of you creates the code and the other types it in; from then on you both see the same data, updated in real time. Syncing between you is end-to-end encrypted.
Which devices can I use?
iOS and Android devices, plus any web browser. Keks Log can be installed as a progressive web app (PWA) or simply used in the browser, and your data syncs across all of your devices on its own.
What goes into an entry?
Each entry records an intimate moment with your partner: the date, plus your own tags, a location, the time of day and a personal note if you like. From these the app builds good-looking analytics such as weekly averages, streaks and trends over time.
